The Sunflower Puppet Festival Residency is a place where puppet artist/companies will spend 5 days immersed in working on their project with full support during development. The culmination of the residency is to showcase the work on opening night of the festival. At this time, we are only able to take on two residencies. There is a nominal fee for meals. This fee is negotiable, since our primary goal is to support artists as much as possible.

We do not offer:
Funding or travel stipend.
Materials.
Puppet artist need to be prepared as much as they can by the arrival date. We understand that things will need to get made during the process, but this is not a building residency. The main focus and goal is the development.
